Introduction:
Stevan
Grosvald is a GMCS faculty associate and an
independent marketing consultant
based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is
one of the travel industry’s most experienced customer relationship /
loyalty marketing executives and has played a major role in the development
and / or administration of many of the world’s largest and most successful
airline frequent flyer programs.
During
his corporate assignments at United Airlines and Continental Airlines in the
USA, he directed the development, launch and administration of United’s MileagePlus, and as Staff Vice President of Marketing Programs at Continental
played a major role in the development and administration of the OnePass
programme. As a consultant and
lecturer during the past 14 years, Mr. Grosvald has worked with clients around
the world on loyalty and CRM assignments.
With the staffs at the respective companies he developed: Mexicana
Airlines’ Frecuenta, South African Airways’ Voyager, Reno Air’s QQuick
Miles and Varig Brazilian Airlines’ Smiles frequent flyer programmes.
He
has also developed relationship programs for business to business applications
and employee motivation and staff performance recognition.
In addition to the airline industry, Mr. Grosvald’s assignments in
the USA, Africa, Europe, South America and Asia have included companies in the
cellular phone, private game reserve, car rental, banking, direct marketing,
railroad and agriculture sectors.
Mr. Grosvald’s 25 year airline career, followed by key marketing assignments at
two rental car firms, has formed the foundation of his international
consulting, teaching and mentoring activities.
His
dynamic presentation skills – conducted in a friendly “sharing of
information” style, permit him to communicate effectively with all levels of
the organization from front line staff to senior executives.
Mr. Grosvald’s enthusiasm for motivating peak staff performance
utilising the concepts upon which GMCS is founded permit us to utilise his
talent in both personnel management and marketing programme related courses
and modules.
